Last night at Reggies, Chicago came together for a powerful celebration of soul, artistry, and real R&B at Thankful For R&B — and the house was packed from wall to wall. The energy was high, the crowd was locked in, and the performances made it a night to remember.
Salute to KHEEMERFEST for curating another great event and continuing to uplift R&B culture in the city. Every detail, from the lineup to the atmosphere, was crafted with intention — and the audience felt it.
Kincy opened the show with a smooth, heartfelt performance that instantly pulled everybody into the vibe. His live delivery set the perfect tone, warming up the room with emotion and authenticity.
Then Issa hit the stage — and she absolutely raised the bar.

And closing out the night was none other than Kenyon Dixon, who delivered a soulful, masterful set that reminded everyone why he’s one of the most respected voices in today’s R&B. His performance was polished, passionate, and powerful — the perfect finale to an already incredible event.
