From the moment guests walked into the Field House, the atmosphere was energetic, welcoming, and full of anticipation for everything planned.
Mario Kart Team Tournament
One of the major highlights of the evening was the live Mario Kart team tournament. Teams raced head-to-head in an exciting bracket filled with tight finishes, surprise lead changes, and impressive teamwork. Spectators crowded around to cheer on players as every drift, shortcut, and final lap added to the competition. The tournament quickly became a centerpiece of the night and kept the room buzzing.
Food and Refreshments
Guests enjoyed fresh pizza, snacks, and beverages during the event. Families gathered around tables to take a break from the action, connect, and enjoy time together. The food added to the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and kept everyone fueled throughout the night.
Games and Activities for Kids
Children had access to a full range of games and interactive stations. From classic video games to hands-on activities, there was always something to explore. The constant movement, curiosity, and laughter made it clear how much the kids enjoyed having a space designed just for them.
Interactive Games for Everyone
The night featured more than just video games. Interactive physical games brought an extra level of excitement and allowed guests to get active and competitive.
Dodgeball was one of the most fast-paced activities of the night, with kids and teens forming quick teams and playing through multiple rounds. It drew large crowds and created a fun, energetic environment.
For the older adults, bingo provided a relaxed but competitive option. Guests took their seats, cards in hand, and played through rounds filled with close calls, friendly conversation, and plenty of excitement whenever someone announced a win.

The Mayor’s Office of Community Safety Video Game Night showcased the power of community events.
