Since the start of the new year, there’s been a noticeable shift in his presence. There’s a lighter energy, a clearer sense of direction, and a deeper hunger to explore the lane he’s stepping into. In his interview with Middle of the Fence, Josh shared that he’s finally creating music that truly feels like him, and that authenticity is beginning to shine through more than ever.

On April 29th Josh released the video for Stand On it featuring a number of friends and a special appearance from his beautiful family. The video is so wholesome and showing not only his love for god but his love for his family is reflected in the energy he brought to the video. It also gave us Cardi B Bruno Mars 90's finesse vibes but in a wholesome way. 

Compared to the wave of “Caribbean Girls” and “Temperature,” which leaned heavily into vibe-driven records, “Stand On It” feels more grounded, purposeful, and emotionally connected. This is a more refined Banton—one who has found his pocket and is now elevating within it.
