Trump Speaks Out: The Iran Deal, Nuclear Tensions, and America First Policy in 2025 By Gerry P tha DJ | FAB 94.5 The Hitz Newsroom

In a dramatic statement that sent ripples across global news and social media, former President Donald J. Trump reignited tensions surrounding Iran’s nuclear ambitions with a fiery message posted to his Truth Social account and shared widely by his supporters.

“Iran should have signed the ‘deal’ I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life. Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!”

— Donald J. Trump, June 2025

This post comes amid escalating concerns about the Islamic Republic of Iran’s nuclear capabilities, as intelligence reports and satellite imagery reportedly show renewed enrichment activity and military movements near sensitive sites.

Trump’s Longstanding Stance on Iran

Donald Trump has maintained a hardline position on Iran since the early days of his presidency. In 2018, he famously withdrew the United States from the Obama-era Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), otherwise known as the “Iran Nuclear Deal.” The deal was initially designed to curb Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief.

Trump called the JCPOA “the worst deal ever negotiated,” arguing it gave Iran too much room to maneuver while failing to permanently eliminate its nuclear threat. During his term, he imposed a “maximum pressure” campaign of economic sanctions aimed at crippling Iran’s economy and limiting its nuclear pursuits.

In June 2025, that pressure appears to be turning into real fear of military confrontation — or worse.

The Evacuation Warning: Real or Rhetoric?

Trump’s message urging “everyone to evacuate Tehran” was interpreted by many as a serious warning, potentially signaling imminent military action or anticipating one by U.S. allies or Iran’s regional adversaries. While some dismissed it as political grandstanding, others saw it as a reflection of actual intelligence assessments about an unstable and dangerous situation on the ground.

A high-ranking Israeli official, speaking anonymously, told FAB 94.5 that “Iran’s refusal to back down and the growing aggression is putting the entire region at risk.” Meanwhile, Pentagon spokespeople have neither confirmed nor denied any U.S. military buildup in the Persian Gulf.

The Deal That Was Never Signed

While Trump did not specify which “deal” he referred to in his post, insiders believe it could be a backchannel diplomatic agreement proposed during his final year in office or post-presidency talks involving Gulf nations. These negotiations, reportedly facilitated through Oman and Qatar, never made it to the public stage or were outright rejected by Iran’s leadership.

Trump supporters argue that had Iran accepted the deal, the current crisis could have been avoided. Critics, however, claim that the lack of diplomatic nuance in Trump’s approach may have closed the door on peaceful compromise.

“America First” in a Volatile World

Trump’s closing message, “AMERICA FIRST means many GREAT things, including the fact that, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!,” reflects the continued influence of his nationalistic and security-focused worldview.

His “America First” agenda has always emphasized strong borders, tough military postures, and reduced international entanglements — unless national security is directly threatened. In this context, stopping Iran’s nuclear ambitions is framed not just as a regional issue, but as a cornerstone of preserving U.S. dominance and security.

? What Happens Now?

As the world watches closely, several questions hang heavy in the air:

  • Will the U.S. or its allies take military action against Iran’s nuclear sites?
  • How will the Biden administration respond to Trump’s statements?
  • Could this spark a broader conflict in the Middle East?
  • Is a new nuclear deal — or war — inevitable?

FAB 94.5 The Hitz will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed as events develop.

Stay tuned, stay alert, and stay safe.
