Updated Bianca Belair WWE Return Timeline, And It’s More Bad News

Bianca Belair has been out of action since WrestleMania 41, and a new report indicates her injury was more severe than initially believed. At WrestleMania, Belair competed in a Triple Threat Match, retaining the Women’s World Title against Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley.

She suffered broken fingers during the match and has been sidelined ever since, only making a non-wrestling appearance as the guest referee for a match at WWE Evolution.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, there is still no concrete return date for Belair. The extended absence is reportedly due to the severity of the injury. “There is still no return date for Belair,” Meltzer wrote.

“She’s been out since WrestleMania with broken fingers, so that injury must have been far worse than usual broken fingers that people often work on and would usually be, even with surgery, only a couple of months.”

Belair’s recovery has been a difficult process. In August, she noted that the rehabilitation for her injury was “very challenging.” Recent updates have suggested the injury was complex, with reports stating she broke her finger in three places and that she was having trouble bending it, which could potentially require surgery to re-break the fingers so they heal correctly.

Despite the setback, Belair provided a hopeful message to her fans during an interview with Adrian Hernandez in September. She acknowledged the support and questions about her comeback.

“I just want to say to all my fans, thank you for all the love, all the support. I hear you, I see you all online when you’re asking when I’m coming back and that you miss me,” Belair said. “All I can say is be ready. Stay tuned. The EST always comes through and shows up and shows out. So, I’ll be back soon.”

While Belair, the former champion, continues her recovery, the Women’s World Championship remains centered and focused. The title was vacated by Naomi due to pregnancy and won by Stephanie Vaquer in a match against Iyo Sky at Wrestlepalooza on September 20, 2025.

Vaquer, who is also the 2025 Women’s Crown Jewel Champion, recently received an endorsement from the returning Nikki Bella on Raw, who appeared to align with her.
